Your Healing Journey Starts Here
This blog was created for those of you who may be struggling with your health, but aren’t
able to begin care in my clinic at this time. Even without appointments or labs, there is still so
much you can do to begin your healing journey. This blog lists the top 3 foundational health habits —simple, evidence-informed steps that can support your immune system, calm
inflammation, and help you feel better, starting today.

  • Immune Balance Basics
When your immune system is out of balance, it can show up as fatigue, frequent colds, skin
rashes, allergies, or autoimmunity. Here are a few first steps: – Drink plenty of clean, filtered
water daily – Prioritize deep, restorative sleep (use blackout curtains or an eye mask) – Add at least one colorful vegetable to every meal—frozen or fresh.
  • Nourish the Microbiome
Your gut is home to trillions of microbes that talk directly to your immune system. Try this:
Add naturally fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, or unsweetened yogurt. Include fiber-rich foods like gluten-free oats, beans, or apples. Avoid ultra-processed snacks and sugary drinks.
  • Reduce Your Toxic Load
Toxins from our environment—like synthetic fragrances, pesticides, and plastics—can
overwhelm the immune system. Here are some low-cost ideas:
    • Replace conventional air fresheners with baking soda or essential oils.
    • Eat organic foods as much as your budget allows. Wash all (organic or conventional) fruits and vegetables thoroughly (even better, peel them if not organic).
    • Let fresh air circulate daily, and avoid storing food in plastic containers.

Even without diagnostic tests or supplements, your body has the wisdom to heal. You can begin restoring your health naturally and improving your vitality by starting with just one change—drink more water, add one vegetable, or go to bed earlier. Small steps done consistently can make a world of difference.
