How Homeopathy Helps You Heal
You can achieve wellness! With homeopathy, you can feel better again. As a type of natural therapy, homeopathy has been healing people for centuries by helping the body heal itself. The principles underlying the specialty of homeopathy have been systematically proven throughout two centuries of practice and validated by over 200 scientific studies meeting the modern criteria of acceptability.
How does Homeopathy Work?
It's based on the principle of "like cures like"--matching a specific remedy to a specific set of symptoms. A remedy is a substance which produces certain symptoms when given to a healthy person. When that same substance is given to a sick person with those or similar symptoms, it brings about healing.
Since the 1800s, homeopaths have been carefully observing and recording the symptoms that various substances produce in healthy individuals. These observations have been painstakingly catalogued in Materia Medicas and then analyzed by computers in order to precisely match the symptom picture of an sick individual to that of a remedy.
Remedies can be made from virtually any substance: animal, plant, mineral, as well as other elements. They can come in the form of small pellets or in liquid form. Remedies are prepared by special pharmacies according to a specific method of dilution and shaking (succussion). Interestingly, the more diluted and succussed a substance is, the greater its potency and the deeper
the healing. Thus, just a few pellets can stimulate the body to heal in a powerful way.
"There are many theories as to why this happens. Modern physics now has some explanations. This seeming paradox has been recently elucidated by a variety of studies throughout the world since 1995 — clarifying special Quantum Electrodynamic processes occurring only in dilute solutions of water or other dipolar solvents. Essentially, some think that the process of shaking and diluting creates clusters of water molecules aligned with associated electromagnetic fields. When there is resonance between the remedy “vibration” and the patient’s symptoms, the structure of water changes and improves all the chemical reactions involved in bodily processes." (Bill Gray, MD, Homeopathy: Science or Myth? North Atlantic Books, Berkeley, 2000).

Homeopathy Goes Deep to Bring Profound Change

As the remedy begins to work to bring healing, you may notice improvement on many different levels in addition to your chief problem. These may come quickly, but the most profound healing usually comes gradually.
